Are we rolling out with the cat jokes a bit too early? I dunno. At any rate, I still need to establish the crew and facilities of the Demeter, so introducing a character new to the ship is one of the easiest ways to do that. We also get a glimpse of Ripley’s cat Thea and the ship’s pilot A1-Haz3n here.
