So this project took a while. At first I wanted to make a single illustration or painting, likewise with layered metaphors for friends and family to ponder the meaning of, but my wife encouraged me to do this. I’m glad she did, because it is more… us. Anyway, I warned her that it would take me quite a bit of time to finish what we scripted to be 7 pages. It actually worked in our favor because it allowed me to squeeze a new bit of information into this page that I didn’t have when I started the project.
